Mojave is doomed

July 29th, 2008 · No Comments

I find it somewhat ironic that the new ads for Vista brings out some of the worst parts of Vista. I’m not talking about parent controls as a bad thing, they’re not. I’m talking about the text in the dialog box.

Still not getting it? I’ll lay it out for you. Why, oh, why does it [...]

Pizza scissor? What else does it do?

July 29th, 2008 · No Comments

Behold: Pizza scissors!

Oh your god, what a unitasker! What else does this monstrosity of a kitchen tool do? I mean, I could imagine that a huge pair of scissors would be a good idea, but with a spatula attached to it? Also, with this rather thin spatula, you’re pretty limited when it comes to slice [...]

My experience with MobileMe

July 29th, 2008 · No Comments

A lot of people have had problems with MobileMe, the new and better .Mac. Some have had problems with e-mail, others with slow servers and still others with billing for trial accounts. I belong to the latter group. I had around 1100 SEK reserved for a week on my credit card, and while I can [...]

Syncing Symbian phones

July 29th, 2008 · No Comments

I just updated the blog post about the M600i File Mode kext (it’s still the post that draws the most traffic ), because I noted at TUAW that Mark/Space just released The Missing Sync for Symbian. If you’re still using a Symbian phone (I’m not, I use an iPhone 3G these days) this [...]

Why the App Store is so revolutionary

July 23rd, 2008 · No Comments

There’s been a lot of buzz around the iPhone, and while some people (idiots mostly) adamantly assert that the iPhone is crappy, because it doesn’t have thousands of features. I don’t care how many features it has, as long as it has the ones I want, and while the iPhone isn’t feature complete for me [...]

Trying out Wordpress for iPhone

July 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

This seems like a pretty amazing app. I’ve heard some complaints about Swedish chars but since I blog in English that’s not a major problem.

Blogging from the iPhone also makes me realize how wonderful Markdown is. If you’re not using it, you really should check it out.

Typing using two thumbs is surprisingly good on the [...]

It’s true

July 16th, 2008 · No Comments

I have it. Ever since friday I’ve been the proud owner of an iPhone 3G. My verdict? Best phone ever. As I suspected the UI is revolutionary (which, by the way, I quoted by the local newspaper as saying). The iPhone is a joy to use. Soon I hope to get my developer key from [...]

iPhone Frenzy

July 6th, 2008 · No Comments

Hi,

I just got this back up and running. I took it down a few weeks ago when I got a new hard drive for my server, but now it’s back up again.

So, it’s less than 5 days until the iPhone is here. Big day. I think it is safe to assume that the launch of [...]
